Kids Adventure Begins at Your Library
The Children's Chappaqua Library Summer Reading Program is open to any child in our community from birth up to 18 to encourage life-long reading habits.
Children should register in person at the Chappaqua Library. (This ReadSquared site is for children and families that wish to log their summer reading online). When you register at the library you will receive a cool Summer Reading goodie bag and become eligible to participate in the weekly Guessing Jar. The first Jar will be opened on June 28th and then we will have a new jar put out every Friday until the last one is opened on September 6th.

You can use this site or the app to create an online reading log to track the days children read (or were read to) and/or enter books they have completed. Logging, however, is not required and families can create their own reading goals and challenges however they wish.
If you used Readsquared last year your username and password will still work (however, you still need to register kids for the 2024 program. When you log in you will be prompted to enroll your kids in the new program).
For new accounts: adults can create a new family account by clicking "Register Now" and then "Myself + Other Readers" and enter an age of 19+. (After registering yourself click "add a reader" to register children). Older children can create their own account by clicking "Myself Only."
